Associate Director, Centers of Excellence (International Business, Entrepreneurship & Leadership)


Annabelle Giordano brings extensive experience in marketing to the Ohio University team including market research, product branding, public relations, writing and design, and events. In previous positions, she has also supported a portfolio of client projects in strategic planning, information technology, project implementation and grant management. Annabelle has a bachelor of arts in organizational studies and foreign languages (French and Spanish) from Scripps College (part of the Claremont University Consortium) and a master’s in marketing management from ESERP in Barcelona, Spain. As the new Assistant Director of the Centers of Excellence (COEs), Annabelle will coordinate and implement a variety of COE programs, events and initiatives as well as develop print and web marketing for the centers.

Phyllis Bohning serves as the Deal Flow Coordinator for TechGROWTH Ohio, Ohio University’s Entrepreneurial Signature Program, where she works to increase sources of deal flow, outreach and brand awareness. Prior to joining the Voinovich School in 2007, Phyllis was the Director of Real Estate Services for a national franchising company and has over twenty years of wide-ranging experience in the real estate and franchise development industries. Phyllis holds a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and a Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.

Faith Knutsen Faith Knutsen


Faith Knutsen has served the Voinovich School since 2008. In addition to managing TechGROWTH Ohio operations, Faith is a member of the Center for Entrepreneurship staff and manages graduate assistants for the Voinovich School Business Advisory team. Previously, Faith worked for 12 years in an executive role at Sunpower, Inc., an Athens Ohio-based, 60-employee research and development engineering firm. Her early career in international development began with a tour as a Peace Corps volunteer in Central Africa and segued into consulting throughout Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America. Faith holds a bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College and a master’s degree from Ohio University.
